[3] With Norma Sklarek and Margot Siegel, Diamond founded the Los Angeles firm Siegel, Sklarek and Diamond, the largest woman-owned firm of the time [2] which then became Siegel Diamond Architects.
David Martin is the third generation of architects to join A.C. Martin Partners, founded in 1906 by his grandfather, Albert C. Martin. [6] David became a member of the family firm after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California School of Architecture in 1966 and his master's degree at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture a year later.
