The UEFA Conference League, formerly the UEFA Europa Conference League, is a seasonal football competition established in 2021. [1] It was created by UEFA to accommodate at least 34 of its national associations in the group stage of its competitions and is the third-tier of European football behind the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League final was the final match of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League, the third season of Europe's tertiary club football tournament organised by UEFA. It was held at the Agia Sophia Stadium in Athens , Greece, on 29 May 2024, [ 5 ] [ 6 ] between Greek club Olympiacos and Italian club Fiorentina .
It was won by Olympiacos, who defeated Fiorentina 1–0 after extra time, and qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League league stage as a result. This edition was the final season under its current name, as it was renamed to the UEFA Conference League from the 2024–25 season onwards.
