Pendeen (from Cornish: Penn Din meaning "headland fort", previously known as Cornish: Boskaswal Wartha, meaning "Caswal's high dwelling") [1] is a village and ecclesiastical parish on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, England. The church is dedicated to St Just; in 1478 William of Worcester reported that the church enshrined the relics of Saint Justus the Martyr. Just, Justin or Yestin was a son of St Geraint. [1] [2] The church of St Just is medieval.
