Farquahr was an American folk band from Branford, Connecticut. Playing often-humorous folk music, the group enjoyed regional popularity in New England in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Farquahr's members all took pseudonymous stage names , three of them were actually brothers. [ 1 ]

Jasper Wrath was a progressive rock band from New Haven, Connecticut, that was active throughout the 1970s. They were founded by Jeff Cannata, who would later go on to form the 1980s band Arc Angel. The band also featured James Christian, who would later go on to front the notable glam metal band House of Lords.
It incorporates traditional elements of klezmer from Eastern Europe, drawing as well on modern interpretations, big band, jazz, and rhythm and blues. [5] [6] The roster and number of players changes frequently. [4] [7] A subset of the ensemble composed of professional musicians performs as the Nu Haven Kapelye All Stars. [8]
