Marblehead is a village in Ottawa County, Ohio, United States. The population was 865 at the 2020 census . It sits at the tip of the Marblehead Peninsula, which divides Lake Erie proper from Sandusky Bay . [ 4 ]
Lakeside is an unincorporated community and Census Designated Place located at along the shore of Lake Erie in the northeast portion of the Township on the northeast portion of the Marblehead Peninsula. The entire community is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Lakeside Historic District.

Lakeside is a private community and census-designated place in Danbury Township, Ottawa County, Ohio, United States, on the shores of Lake Erie. [2] It was formed in 1873 by members of the Methodist Church and remains a church-affiliated vacation resort and United Methodist Annual Conference site.
The population density was 80.5 inhabitants per square mile (31.1/km 2). There were 709 housing units at an average density of 155.5 per square mile (60.0/km 2). The racial makeup of the village was 99.46% White, 0.27% African American, 0.27% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.27% of the population.
