The Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) is the governing body of athletic programs for junior and senior high schools in the state of Kentucky. It conducts state championship competitions in all the KHSAA-sanctioned sports.

Among the major sports, soccer, basketball and volleyball have won the Kentucky "All-A Tournament" in recent years. The school has won two state sanctioned State Championships by the football team in 2011, and in 2015 the girls' basketball team won State and the All "A" Classic ending the year #25 in the US.
The school's first principal was Ralph Kilgore, who retired in 2007. Starting in the 2007–2008 year, Kevin Justice became principal with Mike Potter as assistant principal. During the 2009-2010 year, Melinda Potter also became Assistant principal.
