The Edward Hotel & Convention Center was a 14-story, 773-room former conference center hotel located in the Metro Detroit suburb of Dearborn, Michigan. Until its closure in 2018, it was the second largest hotel in Michigan, after the Marriott in Detroit's Renaissance Center. [1] [2]

Lafayette Park is a neighborhood located east of Downtown Detroit.It contains a residential area of some 4,900 people and covers 0.37 sq mi. The northern section, planned and partially built in the 1950s by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places; [1] it was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 2015.
The Garden Court Apartments were constructed for J. Harrington Walker (of Hiram Walker & Sons) in 1915. [2] Walker lived across the street from the Garden Court; when the building was completed, he moved into the top floor of the south tower (now units C8, D800, and D801). [2] The building originally housed 32 very large luxury apartments. [2]

The Belcrest Apartments is an apartment building located at 5440 Cass Avenue in Midtown Detroit, Michigan. It was built in 1926 as the Belcrest Hotel , designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1983, [ 2 ] and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. [ 1 ]
