Hi, I’m trying to download WoW on a new pc but the download speed is extremely slow. I tried everything that was suggested by blizzard support, as well as reinstalling battlenet, and disabling my antivirus and firewall, but nothing seems to work. I have the bandwidth box unchecked too. Any help would be appreciated.
I have tried troubleshooting with every article available for a variety of issues. My original post was in the technical support forum ( Download Issue / Stuck in Initializing ) and it was suggested I come here for help with the issue. Im at a loss on what to do. I have opened a ticket with blizzard but response time via email is not the best. I know global download speeds are low but I have ...
I’ve been having this issue for a while now. Bandwidth settings have no limits or any schedule but still it’s been extremely slow. It starts rather fast when downloading an update begins but soon after download speed crawls down to only few KB/s. It looks like the change happens based on remaining percentage of download, not after a certain time which means regardless of if it’s a huge ...
Has anybody else noticed that when they update WoW, it starts off fast, and then slows to a crawl, reaching speeds as slow as 56KB/s? I have fiber internet with a wide open pipe, and other games in my library reach download speeds up to 140MB/s. For whatever reason WoW is just awfully slow, and I wish Blizzard would take a look into this. I have no idea why just this one game has throttled ...
Had to move to a new computer because of issues, so updating an old version of Wow to current retail, the update speed is horribly slow, around 100k/s, compared to D4 which was a much more normal 30mb/s when I updated t…
Hi all, This has been posted in the past however I have not found a fix. My WoW download and initializing speed are extremely slow. I download the updates at about 4kb/s, all other games on battle net client download normally at 6mb/s, including WoW classic. This only effects retail WoW. I have tried changing the download options, where the download files go, re-installing battle net client ...
I have been stuck on this update for WEEKS. I have tried everything I can think of. I’ve deleted the cache, updated addons and drivers, manually updated Windows 11, tried deleting the Battle.net and WoW folders, added Battle.Net to my firewall and also turned it off totally. I have tried running as Administrator. NOTHING WORKS! I can’t play at all! Please fix this or give me a suggestion ...
As the title says, for the last few days I have noticed when I mouse over the game settings tab in game it shows “Downloading 0%”. The game is playable and I only noticed the issue when, a few days ago, I started getting random lag spikes and frame drops (I do not know if they are related, however, I figured I would mention it). I have searched google and the forums for an answer on this ...
Title. Tried multiple download speed apps to make sure it’s not on my end and it’s not. Everything works flawlessly for downloads outside of the Battle.net app. I’ve also tried every fix I could find in the forums and every single YouTube video solution and absolutely nothing helps… I’d really appreciate it if anyone has found a working solution because I’m out of ideas on how to ...
Download the tool from this page; In the “Host” field, enter “us.patch.battle.net” (without quotes). Start the test and launch the Battle.net Desktop App, then try to update a game. Ensure the problem occurs while the winMTR tool is running.
