Guillows Nieuport Conversion. Well, here's what I've got. I know Rays89 and Sgt Rock have done this before, but I'll post my progress to date. I plan on using IPS S2, GWS 8X4.3 for power GWS pico servos and rx for radio, and QC830s or maybe Kokams for batteries. The laser-cut parts in the "improved" WWI kit series are very impressive; the ...
Peter Rake Nieuport 28 Build. I started a build of a Nieuport 28 about a year ago and finished the wings and picked it up again recently and decided that I would start a build log. This is my first stick and tissue model so I will probably be making a lot of mistakes. I decided to add ailerons on the bottom wings.
Guillows Nieuport 11, 24" build. Well, I've been inspired by some of the great folks on this site to get back into good old fashioned stick and tissue. I grew up in the middle of nowhere. No neighbors, to speak of, and not much for a little kid to do other than whittle sticks and play with matches. But one day the old country grocery store ...
The ElectriFly instructions are spot on, accurate and thorough. Close adherence to them will result in a successful build. The usual building tools and adhesives are required to assemble this kit. Cyanoacrylate glue, CA accelerator, five minute epoxy, canopy glue and a hot glue gun were all used in my Nieuport build.
Three-channel planes are, inherently, relatively simple planes to operate. They're hard to roll and easy to tame. And E-flite's Nieuport 17 follows in that tradition. Once you get airborne, it's gentle flying for there on after. As expected, it will not fly fast, and that's perfectly fine.
FG Nieuport 17 3mm depron build thread Foamies (Kits) rudder elevator and ailerons. prolly put a servo in the middle of the top wing that runs rods out to the ailerons. my first foam plane was the rare bear from hobby lobby, and from it i learned some things and gleaned some parts. this is the same pushrod system that was in the rare bear i tore out and put in a cessna i built. i could ...
Balsa USA's is doing a build video log of their 1/6 Neuiport on their YouTube channel. I purchased my kit when Balsa USA announced it at the Toledo Expo many, many moons ago. So with my ARF planes essentially completed for the summer I decided to try my hand at building a plane from a kit again. I am going to follow the Balsa USA build along ...
Neiuport 11 Semi Scale Foamie. All, I am returning to electric RC building and flying after a long abscence. I spent many happy hours building airplanes from bluecore, back in the day. One of my favorites was a Neiuport 11 with about a 35 inch wingspan from a plan I pulled off this forum. I would love to do that one as my first reentry build.
Build Log. Balsa USA 1/4 Scale Nieuport 28 Build. Foreword.... The text of this posting was originally posted at RCU. Having seen all the great builds on this site, coupled with the problems posting photos at RCU (Server 500 Error), I decided to move my thread to RC Groups. The dated posts below are the content of the thread I posted up to this ...
Balsa USA 1/6 Nieuport 17. I am starting on another build while the snow lingers. This is the follow-up to my Balsa USA Sopwith Pup. I enjoyed that build so thought I'd try another. The Nieuport starts with building the fuselage, nothing very tricky here. I do think the Sopwith instructions where better for the new modeler, in my opinion.
