There is a plan to extend Sukhumvit Line from Khu Khot Station eastwards for 7.8 km (4.8 mi), including four additional stations: Khlong Sam, Khlong Si, Khlong Ha, and Eastern Ring Road-Lam Luk Ka. The station is located above Phahonyothin Road between soi Phahon Yothin 18 and Soi Phahon Yothin 20. [1] The station is named after the former Mo Chit Bus Terminal , which previously occupied the area, and was the northern terminus of the Sukhumvit Line until 9 August 2019 when Ha Yaek Lat Phrao BTS station opened.
