The museum is a member institution of the Texas Medical Center. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH), is an art museum located in the Houston Museum District of Houston, Texas.With the recent completion of an eight-year campus redevelopment project, including the opening of the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building in 2020, [2] it is the 12th largest art museum in the world based on square feet of gallery space.
HCCC is funded by grants from many organizations, including the Houston Art Alliance, the National Endowment For The Arts, Houston Endowment, Inc., the Texas Commission on The Arts, The Brown Foundation, the Kinder Foundation, and private donations. [2] The center is free to the public and open most days of the week. [3]
