I need to replace the batteries in my 2008 Club Car. Currently running the original batteries (Trojan T1275), however I have heard from friends the Interstate 12 volt golf cart batteries are better. Having said that I have also found on line the AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) batteries which claim to be suitable for golf carts.
Interstate GC-2 is their 6-volt golf cart battery. 6-volts 20 hour rate Ah 232 Reserve capacity 475 minutes 40-50% more cycles than top competitors. This is what you need when comparing batteries. I don't know your budget & batteries are pricey. Trojan Batteries are by far the best golf cart battery out there in my books.
Later did find a Sam's with a real golf cart battery. Beware of 12v golf cart batteries, what I see is rated at 90 to 110ah, less than half 225ah. Cost is more than 6v battery. (When I looked $57 vs $70) . To hit a voltage need half the batteries, yet the savings is not half. (capacity is half) I wonder if the 12v are as durable as the 6v.
I have a 2005 Club Car Precedent. 4-12v Trojan Batteries manufactured May, 2018. Golf cart ran pretty good last summer. This year things have taken a turn for the worse. I played 9 holes of golf and could tell the cart was running out of charge. Meter on dash was down about half way...
I just bought these 6 volt Interstate golf cart batteries from Costco and I have no clue how to read the dates. I searched the internet and nothing matched up. Can someone help me out? Interstate gc2 Bc209ap0020 Bl119ap0206 Ae019ap1106
My golf cart is a 2000 EZGO fleet cart. It has 4 Interstate batteries that are 2007's (according to the stamps on the posts) and 2 Trojan batteries that are 2004's. The golf cart looses power real quick, after a full charge it runs ok on flat ground for a few minutes (maybe 15 minutes) but any inclines kills it really quick.
One cart is coming back after adding a product called "charge it" and a "power pulse" unit. one cart used to only go a couple hours but the thing is back to going pretty much all day! But the other cart is giving me headaches maybe a bad battery or bad cell.
It doesnt work on all batteries but 20 is a lot cheaper than 500 - 600. Let me know if your interested and ill fill you in on how to do it. my batteries are beyond repair one has the bottom almost missing I am buy new trojans for $503.97
Hi there and thanks for letting me join the site. I am a new owner of a 92 ez-go 36volt golf cart. My questions are simple and hopefully easy ones to answer. 1. Can the batteries be converted from the 6 trojan 105 batteries, to 3 12volt deep cycle marine batteries? 2. If so, can you help...
Look at a single 48v golf cart specific battery for ease of installation and trouble free use. Don’t even consider 4 x 12v batteries. Plenty of info on here as to why. Factor in a new Lithium specific charger and also a voltage reducer for 12v accessories if you need one and don’t already have one. Companies like Eco batteries offer a ...
