Oak Creek Township is one of seventeen townships in Butler County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 501 at the 2020 census. A 2021 estimate placed the township's population at 506. [1] The Village of Brainard lies within the Township.
As of the census [8] of 2010, there were 330 people, 152 households, and 90 families living in the village. The population density was 1,000.0 inhabitants per square mile (386.1/km 2).

Oak Creek Township is one of twenty-four townships in Saunders County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 932 at the 2020 census, [1] 40.8% of whom were of Czech ancestry, the second highest percentage of Czech-Americans in the United States. A 2021 estimate placed the township's population at 943. [1]
In 1955, the Nebraska Legislature passed a law requiring all incorporated communities with a population over 100 to be included in the state highway system. The original numbering system required placing a single digit in front of the highway number it was connecting with.
