All those hat-wearing millennial hipsters probably don't even know. "The Monkees" (the TV series, not the group) won the Emmy for Best Comedy series in 1968. And was cancelled the next year. The stocking cap thing goes back at least to the grunge era in the 90s (so pre-millennial).
In no particular order.: John Lennon Paul McCartney George Harrison Ringo Starr. Paul, George, John and Ringo. Ringo (I’m serious), Paul and George equally, then John. I would rate Ringo before John Lennon. I also think he's aged pretty well. At this point, I think Ringo is more attractive than Paul McCartney.
Look at how many amazing the bands were from the 60s and 70s - when looks were secondary to talent. Oh and I was born in 1980, so those decades aren't "my" eras. Since the mid 80s, the only truly great, game changing, mainstream mega big rock bands bands were GnR, Nirvana, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Green Day and maybe Coldplay (puke though).

Just watch her nervous, shaking hands, for instance, at the restaurant table scene with Peter Lawford in Easter Parade. Her nervous, halting and "hyper" performance style was due, in some measure, to the effects of the pills.
In this episode, Peter regales Gilbert and Frank with irresistible stories about Redd Foxx, the mob, Glenn Ford, Uncle Miltie’s “apparatus” and Charlie Weaver’s (and Vincent Price’s!) sexual proclivities. Also, Peter croons with Bing, tours with Bob Hope, gets roasted by Orson Welles and runs afoul of John Wayne.

Because of some successes (both versions of 'Death at a Funeral', and Game of Thrones), he had a platform from which the entertainment industry would listen - and he basically used it to destroy any chance little people had of working in it, by characterizing their casting as 'exploitation.'. I'm quite over him.
