The SPT's (band saw and jig saw) can sell individually for $100 - $250 depending on where you are. This will be my first post. I look forward to learning from all of you. I have been wanting a Shopsmith for several years now. I've found a used Mark 5 locally that appears to be reasonably priced. It comes with the bandsaw and dust vacuum attachments. The present owner says that it has been setting in his garage unused for several years now.

Mark 5's and Mark V's used the same basic table system until the introduction of the 510/505 larger Table System in 1985. At that time the original Table System Mark V became the Mark V 500. Since you called your Shopsmith a Mark 5 I am guessing that is what you read on the Vent/Serial Number plate on the Belt Cover.
