    I find school digger more reliable because its based on exam results. I believe and I'm happy to be proven wrong, that Greatschools is entirely based on the ratings given by individual reviewers - so you could have a bunch of folks plumping it up for you with 5 stars, or some disgruntled parent who goes back 10 times with 2.

    schooldigger and greatschools both assign rankings based purely off of state standardized tests, so schools that have a larger percentage of lower income students or students who don't speak English as a first language score worse.

    This is not true. Especially since the wonkiness of great schools started working against the schools that anyone with any knowledge of the communities--including real estate agents-- knew were far better schools than higher rated schools.

    The mosaic district is a tiny sliver of the falls church high population. Most of it is in the 7 corners baily's cross roads area which has a massive population of low income and english as a second language students.
