The college offers degrees in liberal arts, allied health, business, criminology, education, engineering, tourism and hospitality management, medicine and law. It also offers graduate programs in criminal justice, education, educational management, public administration, and business administration.
The College of Engineering is the fifth college unit to be established. The university's board of regents (BOR), in a resolution passed on June 3, 1910, appointed Mr. W.J. Colbert as acting dean of the college. His appointment was set to effect on June 13, 1910, thereby creating the College of Engineering.
The Institute of Technological Courses became part of the Faculty in 1972. Industrial Engineering is integrated into the college in 1977, with Dean Francisco G. Reyes as head. In 1979, the Engineering Sciences division that houses first and second year engineering students is formed to offer basic engineering-related subjects. [2]

The University of Caloocan City was formed in 2004 out of Caloocan City Polytechnic College (CCPC), which started as a two-year course college in 1971 and offered four-year courses in 1975. Its first programs were Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Education (BSIE) and Business Technology (BSBT).
It was formerly known as the College of Information Technology. This eventually changed in 2003, when the college added two new four-year courses: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Information Management. The college offers courses that specialize in computers as well as a variety of liberal arts courses.
