Heya everyone! Lately I've been using the resource pack Lively Default, which has an amazing custom sky. However, the bottom of the custom sky is not working whatsoever, and unless I go to about ~500 on the Y axis through creative flying, the bottom of the sky is just a big, dark-blue square. When I go high enough in creative, the sky functions ...
First, my daytime sky has a blue cast to the clouds (which should be white). I've tried multiple settings and the only one that gives me the proper color is "replace" but then the fading is removed and that just looks weird. The night sky has the proper coloring (blend=add) but when I use that for the daytime I get blue clouds.
Um. So to get the custom sky I need for my planned Angry Red Planet texture pack, I need to: Create a 256x256 texture named skycolor0.png with the gradient of choice; Place it in the \misc folder of the texture pack; Which I've done, but the sky still persists in being blue. Is there a step I've missed?
View distance must be a minimum of "8". If you want you can try changing the pack type to version 1.13. Simply open the texture pack pack.mcmeta, where it says "pack format", change the "2" to a "4". 4 is the current minecraft type, but I make mine a "2" because it's universal for skies and works for all versions (or should as it has been tested).
So the end sky is kinda weird in vanilla MC. It has its own texture that is tiled several times along each side of a cube-style sky box. If you just put stars onto the texture, it becomes painfully obvious that he sky is a cube... and that the texture repeats on each face of the sky cube. So it's not like you can even just pull the normal ...
1.12.2 is still the old way, having the sky in the mcpatcher folder. Also, make sure you have optifine installed (of course) and not using any of the latest shaders. Most of the new updated shaders overwrite custom skies.
Beautiful Environment - a resource pack, which adds a beautiful sky, the sun, moon and water. It is a modified Lively , but things disliked by some gamers were changed + other additions. To place on the top of other resource packs or on the top of default!
Better Skies is a much-desired addition to the game for many texture artists. This allows you to change what the sky looks like to suit your pack. 1. You will need to open up your texture pack folder/zip file. 2. Locate the FOLDER inside the texture pack zip/folder called "terrain" and open that up. 3.
There is a Patreon to help support the pack and gain benefits of doing so (Like beta versions). This is a large and ambitious project given there are a total of 79+ biomes as of 1.19x. Each of these will have a day sky, sunset/sunrise, and a night sky; Making your Minecraft World more dynamic and realistic. New to the pack: - Animated Auroras
Hi, I used to have a custom sky texture pack, but when I played skywars, or bedwars, or eggwars, I always had a issue, the void, the void is half of the vision, and the sky is half of the vision, and it was always terrible to see the beautiful sky, then the terrible void, and it was always like this.
