Palatka station is an Amtrak train station in Palatka, Florida. It is served by the daily Floridian and Silver Meteor trains. The 1908-built station houses the Palatka Railroad Preservation Society and the David Browning Railroad Museum. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988 as Old A.C.L. Union Depot.

The Georgia Southern and Florida Railway (reporting mark GSF), also known as the Suwanee River Route from its crossing of the Suwanee River, was founded in 1885 as the Georgia Southern and Florida Railroad and began operations between Macon, GA and Valdosta, GA in 1889, extending to Palatka, FL in 1890.

The Palatka and Heights Street Railway was a streetcar system in Palatka, Florida, chartered in March 1888 with a 50-year franchise. It opened in January 1889, with three miles of 3 ft ( 914 mm ) narrow gauge track.
