Beastmaster is an Australian-Canadian-American television series that aired from 1999 to 2002. It was loosely based on the 1982 MGM film The Beastmaster, which was itself loosely adapted from the 1959 novel The Beast Master by American author Alice "Andre" Norton. The series aired 66 episodes over three complete seasons.
