Tully is a rural town and locality in the Cassowary Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. [2] [3] It is adjacent to the Bruce Highway, approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) south of Cairns by road and 210 kilometres (130 mi) north of Townsville.
Tully is located at (42.797655, -76.106434). [3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.7 km 2), all land. Tully is on U.S. Route 11 at the intersection of New York State Route 80.
Tully contains a post office, a hardware shop, a supermarket, a doctor's surgery, a pharmacy, a community centre, and a music house (Teach Ceoil), [1] as well as a horse-riding centre. The village is a quarter of a mile from the sea and has views over the Atlantic Ocean. The Twelve Pins mountain range looms large over the area.
