The Ravenswood is a historic apartment building in Art Deco style at 570 North Rossmore Avenue in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.It was designed by Max Maltzman, and built by Paramount Pictures in 1930 just five blocks from the corner of Paramount's studios on Melrose Avenue.
The building's primary tenant is currently the Art Institute of California-Hollywood. NoHo 14, a 180-unit, fourteen-story apartment building, was built in 2004 as one of the first large-scale developments in the neighborhood. The historic North Hollywood train depot at Lankershim and Chandler Boulevards was restored in 2014 for $3.6 million. [1]

North Hollywood is a neighbourhood and district of the greater Hollywood neighborhood, located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. The neighborhood contains the NoHo Arts District , El Portal Theater , several art galleries, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences .
In 1984, the Hollywood Boulevard Commercial and Entertainment District was added to the National Register of Historic Places, with Hollywood Theater listed as a contributing property in the district. Specifically noted were the theater's neon signage, stucco facade, terrazzo and brick materials, and that the theater is the oldest in Hollywood. [4]
