The line consists of 5 railroad segments: Charlotte District − Salisbury to Greenville, Charlotte District − Yadkin Junction to Halls Ferry, Charlotte District − Bowlin to Gebo, Charlotte District − Spartanburg to Landrum, Charlotte District − Donaldson Junction to Michelin. The line is part of the ex-Southern Main Line.
