Moorside High School, is a coeducational secondary school located in Swinton, Salford, near Manchester, England. [2]Established in 1934, the school was located on the south side of the East Lancashire Road, to the south of Swinton town centre within the Salford Local Authority before being completely rebuilt in recent years.
The college caters for years 12-13, where students can gain A-Level and AS-Level qualifications, with results above the national standards. The college is run as a partnership of 3 local high schools; Painsley Catholic College, The Cheadle Academy and Moorside High School, and acts as the sixth form for students of all partnership schools.

The school was opened in 1939 under the name Cellarhead County Modern School. [1] Previously a community school administered by Staffordshire County Council, in April 2021 Moorside High School converted to academy status. The school is now sponsored by the Potteries Educational Trust. [2]
Moorside Community Technology College was in the Moorside area of Consett. [9] It was opened in 1959 as Moorside Secondary Modern School; the head at that time was W. Ellison. [9] [10] At the time of closure the school's capacity was 600. [9] Based on the 2007 GCSE results, it was categorised as a failing school. [11]
