Sialkot (Punjabi, Urdu: سيالكوٹ) is a city located in Punjab, Pakistan.It is the capital of the Sialkot District and the 12th most populous city in Pakistan. [10] [5] The boundaries of Sialkot are joined by Jammu in the north east, the districts of Narowal in the southeast, Gujranwala in the southwest and Gujrat in the northwest.
After 72 years, Prime Minister Imran Khan, reopened the temple to Hindus. Pakistan government's Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) has chalked out a plan for the renovation and preservation of the temple with the help of Lahore-based Sir Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation.
Gurdawara Bair Sahib also called Baba Beri or Baba Bair is situated in Sialkot, Pakistan. It was the place where Baba Guru Nanak stayed and met Hamza Ghaus, a famous saint of Sialkot. [1] The berry tree under which Guru Nanak stayed is still present. The gurdwara was built by Natha Singh [2] and it includes a garden, a pool and residential rooms.

Sialkot Fort is an ancient fort in ruins in the Sialkot district of Pakistan. [1] [2] According to Punjabi folklore, it was built by Raja Sálbán around the 2nd century CE. [3] [4] The fort was rebuilt by Shahab ud-Din Ghori after its capture from Khusrau Malik, the last Ghaznavid ruler. [5] [6]
