Kells (Irish: Ceanannas) [2] is a village in County Kilkenny in Ireland. It is about 15 km south of Kilkenny. It is situated on high ground to the south of the Kings River. The village is in a townland and civil parish of the same name. [2] Kells Priory, though in ruins, is one of the best preserved in Ireland.
The album was recorded in a home-made studio at Headfort House in Kells. [12] The album was released on 15 February 2008 and received generally favourable reviews in the Irish media. [ 13 ] [ 8 ] [ 12 ] On the same day the band won the Hope for 2008 Award at the Meteor Music Awards . [ 14 ]
