Previously, Karmanos had been ranked as one of America's Best Hospitals for Cancer Care by the Women's Choice Award, from 2011-2012, as well as 2014-2017. The Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion is an outpatient cancer center located in the Grand Rapids Medical Mile in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was developed to bring all cancer research and patient service delivery under one roof in the Spectrum Health System , which merged with Beaumont Health in 2022 to form Corewell Health .
From 1991-2018, it was known as the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. The center was renamed the Rogel Cancer Center in 2018 in recognition of a $150 million commitment from Richard and Susan Rogel. [2] The Rogel Cancer Center is ranked among the top cancer programs by U.S. News & World Report. [3]
