Park Key is an uninhabited island in the lower Florida Keys about 14 miles (23 km) east of Key West. It is 1500 meters long, and between 75 and 260 meters wide (190 meters on the average). It measures 70 acres (28 hectares) in area. The island was made from fill, so that the railroad and later the road bed could be laid down.

Fleming Key is an island off the northwest corner of the island of Key West, Florida in the lower Florida Keys. It is roughly 2 miles (3.2 km) long by 0.25 miles (400 m) wide. It is connected to the island of Key West by the Fleming Key Bridge (Mustin Road), having 18 feet (5.5 m) of clearance over Fleming Key Cut, a small channel. [1]
On nautical maps, the Mule Keys appear like an atoll of 11 miles (18 km) length east–west, and 6 miles (9.7 km) width north–south (covering a sea area of roughly 58 sq mi (150 km 2), with Mule Key, Crawfish Key, Man Key, Ballast Key, Woman Key and Boca Grande Key along the southern rim (from east to west), and Cottrell Key in the north.
