Title. Sometimes my local bookstores don’t have the book I am looking for. I usually gravitate to ThriftBooks where books are used, cheaper, and orders operate under a membership point system so I can built credit. Are sites like this actually beneficial to use over Amazon, or do they have their own problems similar to the conglomerates?

I have had 4 separate backorder experiences now and 2 of them I just ended up canceling and ordering from bn I have been waiting for them to fulfill a backorder that I purchased back in November.
