SO annoying. I've looked at 4 different recipes from 4 different credible sources - brand names, not some rando with a blog - and all 4 have different cook times, ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours. Now, in a pressure cooker an additional hour is LONG time. And last time I did it the meat...

I like a basic pot roast. A good cut of chuck, braise it in olive oil, add a half packet of Lipton onion/mushroom dry soup mix, cover with water and simmer for a few hours. Check the water level, don't let it boil off. About a half hour before it's done, add the 'taters, onion and carrots. Use the broth to make a really good gravy.

Wasn't my thing but it made him happy. I cheated last night, I just used four chicken breasts, cream of celery and cream of chick with herbs, chicken broth, frozen peas & carrots. For the dumplings I got refrigerated Grands biscuits, flattened them, tore pieces off and dumped them on top of the chicken mixture, turned the crockpot to high and ...

1 Samuel 2:12 Eli’s sons were scoundrels; they had no regard for the Lord. 13 Now it was the practice of the priests that, whenever any of the people offered a sacrifice, the priest’s servant would come with a three-pronged fork in his hand while the meat was being boiled 14 and would plunge the fork into the pan or kettle or caldron or pot.

Mixed up a cream cheese filling, substituted Splenda for sugar and added almond paste. Put it in a loaf pan, but having done this before, I knew I had to reduce the heat or it burns on top. Calls for 350, put it in the toaster oven at 300 and added 10 minutes. Made a great desert and goes well with the morning coffee.

Some folks like a sweet sauce, some like Carolina style, while some like just coleslaw on top. When you add a sauce, you take away that choice of the person eating it.

If I want to deep fry, I use a regular pot with oil and use the aux burner on the gas grill outside. I hate oil splatter in the kitchen.

Phase 2 kicks in when there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary of the media's narrative. Then they will shift gears into the practice is a cultural one. And anyone saying anything negative about the wanton killing of park wildlife is a racist and white supremist. Phase 3 includes pivoting to declaring that the killing of that wildlife is ...
