Mar 18, 2016. #2. I would suggest you to try to download and check out Classic Shell ( Classic Shell - Start menu and other Windows enhancements ). This possibly could bring back the taskbar, then you can decide on either keeping it if it works, or uninstall it and see if your taskbar came back.
Here is my problem. When watching videos on utube or any other streaming channel on full screen the controls are on the bottom behind the taskbar. How do I get the controls for the video player on top of the taskbar??? I have to autohide the task bar in order to get to the video player controls. Any idea if I need to mess around in the registries?

I don't know why but I restarted my pc and now the taskbar isn't completely at the bottom nor to the right, I try setting it to small taskbar and it works but when I set it back to normal it doesn't

22. Jun 29, 2015. #2. Hi. Try setting them to small icons and then regular icons again - Right click your Task Bar and choose properties, then on the first tab 'Taskbar', try ticking the option for 'Use small taskbar buttons'. Then click apply, untick it now and click OK. Does this help?
