The building has 30 floors and rises 448 feet (137 meters). One Dallas Center is currently tied with the Sheraton Dallas Hotel North Tower as the 25th-tallest building in the city.
The store's closure resulted in a redevelopment opportunity, and the City of Dallas acquired the building for $3.4 million (~$5.85 million in 2023) in 1999.
