Major Sidney Theodore Freedman, played by Allan Arbus, is a psychiatrist summoned in cases of mental health problems. In the M*A*S*H 30th Anniversary Special that aired on Fox in 2002, Arbus was the only non-regular cast member to be featured on the special. Freedman's first appearance was in the episode "Radar's Report", as Milton Freedman.
