Imperial is a census-designated place (CDP) in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States and part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The population was 2,722 at the 2020 census. [2] The CDP is located in North Fayette and Findlay Townships, and geographically close to Pittsburgh International Airport.
Once largely rural, the West Hills area has grown considerably since the addition of the Pittsburgh airport in 1951. The airport's main terminal moved to Findlay Township in 1991 on land that once was a farm.
