The PDC World Masters, known for sponsorship purposes as the Winmau World Masters and formerly known as simply The Masters, is a professional darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The tournament was introduced in 2013 and has been held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England, since 2015.
The Masters featured the top 24 players in the PDC Order of Merit after the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, with the top 8 automatically qualifying for the second round. Gerwyn Price withdrew from the tournament on 1 February 2024 due to family reasons.
On 28 October 2024, it was announced that the then non-ranked event, the Masters, would be renamed as the World Masters [1] and become a ranked [2] premier event. With this change, the tournament would now be played in sets instead of legs, and preliminary rounds will be held to complete the 32-player tournament field.
