The new Patra TV is managed and operated by Cosmos Pelop Media S.A. which was established on 1997 with the operation of the predecessor channel called Cosmos in the prefecture of Elis and legalized on March 23, 1998, under the 6564/Ε license, by the Ministry for the Press.
The city of Patras has an important history of four thousand years. Patras has been inhabited since the prehistoric age and constituted an important centre of the Mycenean era. In antiquity it was a leading member of the Achaean League. Patras reached the peak of its power in the Roman era, when an imperial colony was founded there by Augustus.
Patras was one of the first cities in which the Greek Revolution began in 1821; [8] the Ottoman garrison, confined to the citadel, held out until 1828. After the war, most of the city and its buildings were completely destroyed. Patras developed quickly into the second-largest urban centre in late-19th-century Greece. [9]

TeleTime is a Greek local television station serving Western Greece. It includes the prefectures of Achaia, Aetolia-Acarnania, Ilia, Cephalonia, Lefkada and Zakynthos. Its headquarters are in Patras. It offers movies as well as local programs and programs from Greece, as well as children's programs and animated series from Nickelodeon.
