Yesterday is a 2019 jukebox musical romantic comedy film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis based on a story by Jack Barth and Curtis. Himesh Patel stars as struggling musician Jack Malik, who suddenly finds himself as the only person who remembers the Beatles and becomes famous for performing their songs.
Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by the English rock band the Beatles.It was released on 4 December 1964 in the United Kingdom on EMI's Parlophone label. "Eight Days a Week" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon based on McCartney's original idea. The guitar is called a Rickenbacker 325 1996. Lennon used the guitar for the shows until the other 325 was repaired. In 1968 during the recording of The Beatles, drummer Ringo Starr left the group during tensions and when he returned, Lennon gave the Rickenbacker 325 1996 to Starr. He has had it ever since.
The Beatles covered this song once for the BBC radio show, From Us To You, on 1 May 1964, with George Harrison on lead vocals. The song is notable for being the last time the Beatles performed a song for the BBC that wasn't recorded for EMI. The song is also notable for its double-time rhythmic changes during the bridge.
Ringo Star used his feet to promote the film, which won best streaming docuseries at the Hollywood Critic's Association TV Awards on Aug. 14.
