J.C. Duffy is an American cartoonist.He currently creates "The Fusco Brothers" which has been syndicated since 1989.He created the comics "Go Figure", "Go Fish" (2002 to 2007) and "Lug Nuts". [1]
The Fusco Brothers is an American gag-a-day comic strip created by J. C. Duffy which features the four Fusco bachelors — Rölf, Lance, Al, and Lars — along with Lance's girlfriend, Gloria, and Axel, the Fuscos' wolverine. The strip has been nationally syndicated since 1989.
Ernie was drawn by J. C. Duffy (The Fusco Brothers). The Fusco Brothers was drawn by Jerry Van Amerongen (Ballard Street). Ballard Street was drawn by Mell Lazarus . Momma was done by Jeff Millar and Bill Hinds (Tank McNamara): Marylou introduces Momma to Tank, Marylou's new boyfriend. Tank McNamara was drawn by Chip Sansom (The Born Loser).
Augustus Mutt is a tall, dimwitted racetrack character—a fanatic horse-race gambler who is motivated by greed. Mutt has a wife, known only as Mrs. Mutt (Mutt always addressed her as "M'love"; Al Smith revealed in a Boston Globe newspaper column that her first name was Ima – and conceded that he did not use it often because it was not a complimentary name).
Inspired by comic book art, Auth began to draw regularly, making use of an ample supply of paper, pencils, and crayons provided by his parents. [1] At age nine, he and his family moved to Los Angeles, California where Auth continued his education. [2] Auth attended UCLA where he earned his bachelor's degree in biological illustration in 1965. [3]
