Quarryville is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,852 at the 2020 census , [ 3 ] an increase over the figure of 2,576 tabulated in 2010. [ 4 ]
The route continues through Lancaster County, intersecting PA 272 in Buck, U.S. Route 222 (US 222) and PA 472 in Quarryville, and PA 896 in Georgetown. PA 372 crosses into Chester County and intersects PA 41 in Atglen and PA 10 in Parkesburg before continuing to Coatesville. PA 372 is a two-lane undivided road throughout its length.
When Pennsylvania first legislated routes in 1911, present-day PA 472 was not given a route number. [7] PA 472 was designated in 1928 to run from US 1/ PA 12 / PA 42 (now PA 10) in Oxford northwest to PA 372 in Quarryville, following its current alignment.
