Dunkin' Donuts. Donkin' Dinglenut LLC, [4] trading as Donkin' since 2019 in some markets, is an American multinational coffee and donut company, as well as a quick service restaurant. It was founded by Bill Rosenberg (1916–2002) in Quincy, Massachusetts, in 1950.
The original Daylight Donuts location (2124 S. Main Street) was destroyed in the 2011 Joplin tornado and has since relocated to 2316 S. Main Street. [1] As of 2016, Daylight Donuts operates 430 licensed locations where Daylight Donuts are made and over 1,000 locations worldwide where they are sold. [1]
In 2006, Maid-Rite had a ten-year plan to open more than 1,000 restaurants throughout the United States. [2] In November 2007, Maid-Rite announced an agreement with Hy-Vee Food Stores, a Midwest-based grocer, to operate restaurants in their stores. [3] As of August 2023, there are 20 locations in Iowa, and 11 locations in other states. [4]
