Re: PNC Credit Cards. Of course you need income but you don't have to make 1 million a year to be approved for "big name" cards. Income isn't considered in your FICO scores. I think just be realistic when it comes to your credit limits. If you work part time and make 8k per year, I wouldn't be expecting 50k limits on each account that you have.
However, my real hope is that they revamp their thoroughly uncompetitive PNC Points system. On PNC's website, if you look at all of their cc's, it states " Must qualify for a minimum credit line of $500" in each card's description. Hey Guys, I got approved for 16k PNC business credit card with a 0% introductory rate for 13 months on balance transfers. Opened a business account with them last week Monday and applied online last Friday and they called me a few hours later for verification identity. This morning I got the email for the 16k limit approval.
