The Monroes was first released on DVD by Shout!Factory on September 6, 2016. The DVD set includes all 26 original episodes from the series' single broadcast season. The product was initially released exclusively in Walmart stores, but was later made widely available.

Sullivan played a similar role on a 1970 episode of Adam 12 as a con artist/cult leader. In 1966–67 season, he appeared as Major Mapoy in all twenty-six episodes of the ABC Western series The Monroes with Michael Anderson, Jr., and Barbara Hershey. He appeared in films such as That Darn Cat! (1965) as Graham and The Magic Sword (1962).
Filming on Monroe began in Leeds in September 2010, with production based in the old Leeds Girls' High School in Headingley. The first episode was broadcast on ITV on 10 March 2011 to strong ratings. A second series followed in 2012. On 14 November 2012, it was announced that ITV had cancelled Monroe due to low viewing figures. [1]

Locke (right) with the cast of The Monroes. In the 26-episode ABC television series The Monroes, broadcast in 1966 and 1967, Locke, aged six, played Amy Monroe, [6] the youngest of a group of siblings who had to care for themselves in northwestern Wyoming in the Wild West. [7]
She appeared in more than 40 episodes of the show during its six-season run from 1965 to 1971. [2] She reprised the role in the 1990 TV movie Return to Green Acres . [ 4 ] Recalling the Ralph character in a 2006 interview, she said "To be remembered for Ralph kind of upsets me—only in the sense that it was so easy and undemanding."
