The Ed Sullivan Theater under Colbert holds just shy of 400 people, and the audience at The Late Show is by far and away the largest audience in late night. That said, the show still overbooks. Get there early, especially if you have general tickets.

At the end of the show there's not much to do apart from take a picture with the standee of Stephen in the atrium. Where can I watch the Late Show with Stephen Colbert? First off CBS is a national network that broadcasts OTA (over the air). This means you can still watch the show without a cable subscription. First use a website to determine who your local broadcasters are.
Early show they’re usually on a tighter schedule (because the second show has to happen) and they’re usually a little more sober. So the odds of seeing the material performed more like how it would be on an album or special is higher than on the late show, where the comic has a bit more breathing room and lubrication.
complete late late show wih craig ferguson archive needed. Hey everyone, we all know that LLSWCF has been a great antidepressant for all of us, and we keep re-watching episodes. But I just wonder how come nobody has made a complete archive, or at least any possibly findable episodes.
The early show usually has a more subdued crowd, so the comic most likely will do their set as they planned to. The late show usually has a more random crowd and they already did what they planned previously, so they might mix it up a little and be more relaxed. I prefer the late show usually.
