    Something that video encoders always have trouble with. Screen cap of video encoding quality for powerdirector. Edit: Nevermind. I whoopsied and let it reencode my 4k for editing. Thought it would just use it as a proxy for editing then encode from the original. Looks like it encoded from the reencoded source video which explains the poor quality.

    final cut, shortcut, davinci resolve, filmora9 free version (watermarks). You can check alternatives.net. Davinci Resolve on Windows. Shotcut. I've used Blender and found it to be really good after getting used to it for a few hours. free as in free beer - your best choice is probably davinci resolve.

    Try DaVinci Resolve, it may not be the easiest but you will be able to do everything you want. Da Vinci resolve is the best free and better than a lot of paid, manual is free too if you need to learn the ins and outs. !freesoftware. I'm on a very old mac and I tried shotcut and openshot and both lagged like crazy.

    CapCut, no watermark at all but some features need Pro. Capcut do have enough feature for you, can export up to 4K 60fps, can make subtitle easy (TTS is available), whatsoever that you need is kind of here. Use mod versions. I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel, I've heard of capcut and kinemaster.

    Davinci Resolve is the way. It is free. It is relatively easy to get started but also incredibly powerful. If you decide to upgrade to the paid version down the line it is a one time payment of $300, not a subscription. Updates are free.
