Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Cuba in Allegany County, New York. The district consists of nine acres and includes 31 contributing buildings. It encompasses the village of Cuba's commercial district, which includes a small number of prominent religious, civic, and residential structures.
In 1835, he opened a public house and general store, and was appointed Postmaster of Cuba. He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Allegany Co.) in 1836 and 1837. He was a member of the New York State Senate (6th D.) from 1843 to 1846, sitting in the 66th, 67th, 68th and 69th New York State Legislatures.
NY Route 446 runs parallel to the Southern Tier Expressway. NY Route 305 is an important north-south trunk road passing through the village. Cuba is located on the Main Line of the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad. North Cuba and South Cuba are small communities respectively north and south of the village on Route 305.

South Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Cuba in Allegany County, New York. The district consists of 12 acres (49,000 m 2 ) and includes 48 contributing buildings. It encompasses the village of Cuba's most distinguished residential enclave.
In Cuba, NY 305 becomes known as South Street, crossing the former Erie Railroad main line into the village. Continuing northward, NY 305 becomes a two-lane residential street. At the intersection with CR 20 (East Main Street), NY 305 changes names to Genesee Street, intersecting with the eastern terminus of NY 446 (Water Street).
