Frankfurt Ostendstraße station is an underground S-Bahn station in central Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The station was opened when the City Tunnel was extended to Frankfurt South station in 1990. It consists of two tracks, one each side of a central platform.
It was the first U-Bahn service in Frankfurt to run entirely underground, linking the central railway station to Seckbacher Landstraße in Bornheim. In 2001 the U4 was extended almost 2 km (1.2 mi) from the central railway station to Bockenheimer Warte with an intermediate station at the Frankfurt Trade Fair.
