Espie is an Emeritus Professor in the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences at the University of Glasgow. The SLEEP annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies LLC (APSS) is a joint venture of the AASM and the Sleep Research Society. The meeting attracts about 5,000 attendees each year.
