New York State Police said burglary suspects crashed a stolen 1998 white Ford F-150 into the 6765 state Route 415 Kwik Fill store in the Town of Bath early Wednesday in a bid to steal the store's ATM.
At 1:45 a.m., a group of police officers entered the establishment and blocked the exits so that none of the 78 men inside could escape. They arrested 34 men against whom they had complaints. The rest were let go with a warning. The owner of the bathhouse, John Begley, was accused of keeping a disorderly house and was held on $2,000 bail.
The court ruled that police are required only to release basic "blotter" information about arrests, including the name and address of the person arrested, the date, time and place of the arrest, the criminal charges and a news release or narrative of the arrest. Under the ruling, mugshots do not have to be disclosed. [26] [27] Florida
