The University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF or Alaska) is a public land-, sea-, and space-grant research university in College, Alaska, United States, [9] a suburb of Fairbanks. It is the flagship campus of the University of Alaska system. UAF was established in 1917 and opened for classes in 1922.
The UAF Community and Technical College (CTC), formerly Tanana Valley Campus (TVC) [1] is located in Fairbanks, Alaska. CTC is a major academic division of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, [2] offering classes and curriculum normally associated with community colleges. CTC is primarily focused on career and technical education.
This program was started in 2009. F.Sc. (Pre-Agriculture) 2-year programme at UAF Community College in PARS Campus, Jhang Road, near Faisalabad International Airport. After this 2 year degree, students can be admitted to any degree programme offered by the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. Students are selected from all across Punjab.
The Sun Star is the student newspaper of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, formed in a merger of the Northern Sun and the Polar Star. UAF Cooperative Extension Service is part of the larger Cooperative Extension Service in the United States.At UAF, Extension is organized by program area and a UAF faculty member serves as the program chair in each of the four areas: agriculture and horticulture; health, home and family development; natural resources and community development; and 4-H and youth development.
