The girls are rescued by a young Hope, who heard Josie relating Lizzie's story. Hope reveals she rewrote the story with the Hollow as the villain, and realizes she knows how the story ends. Hope defeats the villain, who is revealed to be Malivore. Hope tells the twins that she knows how to defeat the real Malivore – she must become the tribrid.
